Have you written a document in the desired language but want to be sure it is typo free and well written for sharing or publication purposes?

That’s when this additional step is required. This may apply to a variety of texts, ranging from a simple letter to an academic thesis, manuals, complicated reports or any text intended for publication.

Many Swiss service providers and companies still have monolingual websites, either only in French or only in German or Italian, or just Romansh, a drawback which limits potential outreach to customers countrywide. Translating your website increases the scope of your services, helping you reach out to all of Switzerland’s language regions. we are the best website translation service provider in the switzerland. Translating texts such as reports, manuals, annual reviews or brochures that contain images, tables or graphs while preserving the original layout can be a complex task. Whether you have your own designers or would like to entrust us with the entire design and translation of your text, we are ready to provide this additional service. Desktop publishing (DTP) services are an important aspect of translation when design is involved, as different languages and characters may pose problems in terms of hyphenation rules, page layouts in languages such as Arabic and Hebrew which are written from right to left, punctuation differences and text length. After translating your content into your desired languages, we can add this additional step. With our team of DTP experts, we will fine-tune the design and format to deliver a final text suitable for both online and offline publishing through our Desktop Publishing services.

We can work with any source format using software such as MS Word and Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, QuarkXPress and Corel Draw.

Sometimes referred to as certified translation or official translation, a sworn translation is required for legal or administrative purposes and must bear a stamp from the sworn translator attesting that the translator takes responsibility for its accuracy. This should not be confused with a notarized translation or an apostilled document, which are different legal requirements for document legitimization (feel free to contact us for more information on this subject). We can offer sworn translations in any Swiss national language as well as Arabic, Spanish and English. You will receive the PDF and the original hard copy sent to you by post.

Interpreting

If you are unfamiliar with multilingual events and how to recruit interpreters, contact us and we’ll help you find the right service to suit your needs. We offer the following interpreting services:

1

Simultaneous Interpretation

We specialize in simultaneous conference interpretation, the ideal mode for large events with a big number of participants. This can be done in many settings, from medium-sized meeting rooms to large conference venues, thanks to the different types of equipment and technologies we work with. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have also been providing online remote simultaneous interpretation on different platforms.

2

Consecutive interpretation

Consecutive interpreting services are recommended for small, one-on-one meetings, individual interviews and so on. Unlike simultaneous interpreting, no special equipment is required. Consecutive interpreting requires more time than simultaneous interpreting, because the speaker must pause every few minutes for the interpreter to translate the message into the desired language.

3

Judicial

Judicial interpretation is often used in the Swiss legal system. We provide professional legal interpretation during depositions, hearings, litigation and other legal proceedings for individuals and lawyers. We also offer interpretation services for civil weddings.

4

Whispered

Commonly used to accompany one or two people who do not speak the target language, whispered interpretation (also known as chuchotage) works well during diplomatic meetings, onsite visits and tours. The interpreter accompanies the client and whispers the message translated into the desired language.

5

Remote online interpretation

Although remote interpretation is not new, we transitioned to online interpretation at the outset of the pandemic, which gave us an opportunity to test most platforms available on the market. We quickly adapted to the new remote way of working and can offer multilingual remote simultaneous interpreting on most online platforms.

For larger events, interpreters can work together from an interpretation hub in our usual professional booths while participants join from around the world. Contact us for more information on the different remote interpretation options to suit your needs.

6

Equipment

We can provide the following types of equipment:

  • Simultaneous interpretation booths
  • Portable equipment tour guide system
  • Simultaneous interpretation consoles without a booth for small spaces
  • Remote interpretation hubs
